Every format in. One standard report out.

Overview

From a pile of files to one clean report

Picture a pharmaceutical manufacturer with some 1,400 distributors across India. Every month end, each one must report sales, stock purchased and free goods distributed, and the manufacturer needs it all in one standard format more than 30 columns wide. What arrives is anything but standard: Word files, PDFs, Excel sheets and even handwritten pages, from towns, cities and villages alike.

Matching every distributor’s own layout to the right column meant a data-entry team working through the files by hand, typically for 20 to 23 days. The report was needed by the 5th to feed production planning. It arrived around the 22nd, so each month’s plan ran on data a month old.

Formatflex was built to close that gap. It reads each submission as it arrives, maps what the distributor wrote to the manufacturer’s standard columns, and produces the consolidated report and dashboard automatically, so planning can run on current numbers. The same approach can serve any business that has to turn mismatched documents into structured data.
